Loan-Bell raised her stricken gaze to them, “I—.”

“A pet or toy,” Talum interrupted. “For all our carnal pleasures?”

“It is w-what—,” Lona-Bell stuttered.

“-It is what?” Braun asked sharply, sitting on the edge of the bed to gaze at her solemnly, while Talum made himself comfortable leaning into Braun’s side as their hands met on Braun’s shoulder.

“It is what I’m told you expected!” Lona-Bell exclaimed. “It is what I am commanded to do!” she cried, and then she fell down on the bed hiding her face from them. She did not care that they could see her bare bottom with the gold chain through the crease. It was all so confusing. She’d been told, no ordered, to be their sexual slave! Her children’s lives depended on the fact that she pleased them. Yet, they seemed insulted that she would offer herself. Perhaps they found her unattractive.
